Fresh from his "Megatron" missives on Cave, Yoteii makes his debut on the rising new-gen outpost Breeze. Four tracks in total, each one of them packing his animated, springy signature. "No Choice" digs the foundations with a rubber ball bass riff that licks out in a classic early 2000s Q&A style. It's swiftly followed by the title track, which more than lives up to its name. Minimal in ingredients, maximum in flavour, you can file this one under 'serious creeper'. Elsewhere "Ratchet Man" plays a cool game of contrasts with a deep, velvet intro and a guttural greasy machine drop while "Creatures" closes business with a rasping, gnarly, gritty stampede. Monstrous.
