Review: It's safe to say that eastern inspired sounds and dubstep compositions have found a mighty partnership as of late. It is a regular occurance to hear both sounds intertwined around the 140 region, which is the best way to describe this wavy new project from The Maker. The title track 'Beyond The Shadows' runs hypnotic melodies with grizzly bass stabs with great results, before dipping into minimalist structures of 'Echoes Domain'. Next, we unleash the LFO's on 'Gohma' and the quirky Arabic string plucks of 'Speak Up', before finishing up with the vibrant swinging half time bass tones of 'Predator'.
