For easter 2021 (on 4/4 this year) we release this new compilation with the best in tribal bass music as a dedication to the group and the entire scene and a way to cross international boundaries and bring together the world in a year of reconnection.
- Tribal Bass is a mixture of genres ranging from styles using idm-ish breakbeats and fusion trip-hop over ethnic instrumentals, global trap to psy-dub, experimental bass and glitch-hop. It is known as a danceable downtempo style for psy-heads and nu-school hippies and is usually plaid at chill out or second stage areas in European psychedelic festivals, but it also hits the main stages in US, AU, NZ and Can. Tribal Bass connects different subcultures and scenes and is representative for the post-modern era in dance music and music production where any combination of styles and origin is possible. It expresses the need to cross boundaries and open up nations and cultures.
