Basic Biology spent the last year writing their debut album for Free Love Digi. Each tune features unique instrumentation and melodic depth unpinned by the desire for genuine connection.The lyrics explore and deconstruct philosophies of life and death, abuse, the technologic singularity, and popular complacency. Five songs on the album feature vocals from Matthew Cassidy, and two tracks feature guest vocalists Megan McKay and Blake Brady. As the album wrapped, ideas for video content began to surface. A connection with Flam Chen allowed these maturations to flourish and the video for 'Melting Patterns' was born.
