It's safe to say that Crucial Recordings have been on a bit of a standout spree over the past few months, so when we saw that they had linked up with living dubstep legend: The Widdler, we could hardly contain our excitement. In traditional swampy style, we kick off this project with the murky LFO expressions and aquatic flute lines of the title track 'Venting', before diving head first into 'Out There', an unpredictable roller packed with gnarly horn drives and suspenseful tones amidst a low hanging forest of unusual percussion. Finally, Smilodon gets involved with the luscious soundscaping and incredible melodic structures of 'Magnetic'. Just wow!
