We are always very excited to see new Dank N Dirty Dubz releases land in the store, with their recent run of EP's being pretty seismic to say the list. For their latest drop they enlist the skills of Denver-based producer: Contra Scandal, who gets to work across seven stunning steppers originals. We begin our journey with the stunning string sampling and spacey textures of 'Break The Silence', followed in style by both swirling atmospheric pressure of 'Kapush', and clean cut eastern melodies of 'Runnin' From The Gun'. Next, the title track Resonatia lands with a bucket of sauce, again deploying stunning eastern stringwork to create a molten atmosphere. This is followed by the crunchy drum inflections of 'Flow' and popping percussive designs of 'Last Breath', before we round off this special body of work with the distorted vocal work, uplifting cello-like strings and twisted rhythms of 'Rona'. Amazing work.
