Grime is a genre that is always looking to expand with new producers rising up to the plate every week. M62 bring forward Rakjay for this one with a top draw three track project, showcasing the Preston based producers skill set. We kick off with the haunting sub rolls and and sweeping synthesizers of 'Purgatory', a very original grime creation. Next up the old school rolling bass instrumentation of 'Reckless' which is very reminiscent of 2003-2006 grime. The EP is then rounded off with the high pressure sounds of 'Can't Get Away' which combines highly energetic percussion with weighty bass patterns and electric synths perfectly. This is a great way to start the year for Rakjay.
