A vivid tapestry of Bollywood histories pieced together somewhere inside the dark corner alleys of Bangladesh. The ghosts of screen and cinema filtered through Bristol flavoured sub-lines and smoked out upstate NY drum breaks. Straight from the crates, straight to the tapes. (And now for the first time, wax.) Hail to the Sultan.

Imprint Monsters Music
Nr# MM 028
Next up from the hard-hitting Monsters Music imprint, the heavyweight flavours of Stayns make an appearance across this killer 5 track display. This is a masterful display of riddim-inspired dubstep dominance, kicking off with the bleeping textures and sweeping LFO swipes of 'Moist Level' and speaker-rattling synthesizer thwacks of 'Carbonated Cxm Jar'. The pace only quickens as we advance, with 'Poo Gazers'. A bizarrely named original delivers another shower of gnarly texture, with the more stripped back drum approach of 'Barktune' then taking the lead role. Finally, 'Villanueva' arrives to provide an additional layer of depth to the EP as icy soundscapes are sprinkled atop hard hitting kick punches and snare pummels to give us a much more melodic outro than we were expecting.
