The second part of Subway Soundz's Back to the Future album is here and ready to transport you to a different timezone by way of a sonic punch to the ears. They've brought in the entire crew for this one and the list is exhaustive, with artists from Puppetz to Tomoyoshi all digging deep into their jump-up filled Mary Poppins bags. Alphaze and Runnah's 'The Sound' is the album at its best, as a pounding percussive lead reaches into your soul and pulls it out your ears via a crashing, relentless concoction of bass stabs and skipping energy. Blackhry's 'Both' is scarred and torn in its approach, whilst Klay's 'Edo Tensei' is possibly the most creative on the album, with a clever use of space and a booming bassline. Wicked.

Wow, what a monster year it has been for Bristol's Ghetto Dub label, and head honcho Vinyl Junkie. Not content with delivering some of his best work ever on the Tiger Style & Joint Project EP's he has now, with the help of his partner in crime Rachael E.C, curated Ghetto Dub's most anticipated compilation to date. A mammoth 32 remixes of the coldest cuts in the imprints history to celebrate the 40th release on the label.
- Launching just in time for Xmas this is a huge feast of flavours, cooked to absolute perfection with all the trimmings, cranberry sauce and extra gravy. An international dining experience with gourmet contributions from the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Serbia, USA and Canada.
- As you would expect, plenty of regular Ghetto Dub chefs appear on remix duty, including Mad Vibes, Conrad Subs, DJ Gaw, Sikka and of course Vinyl Junkie himself, all of whom absolutely nail there takes on such classics as 'Long Dead', 'Body Move', 'Geto Dubata' and 'Kontact'.

Over the past few years, EVA808 has become seen as one of the true leading lights within 140BPM based music, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound with stunning arrangements, jam packed with incredible levels of creativity. This is why when we saw this full length project, entitled 'Sultry Venom' land in the store, we couldn't have been more excited. In short, it's a masterpiece, a phenomenal display of electronic understanding and barrier-shattering innovation of sound, from the unpredictable percussive displays of 'Snakes', and lethal synthesis of 'I Saw The Devil', to the smooth guitar sampling of 'Skull In The Mud' and more experimental rhythms of 'Whoop Whoop'. She covers it all in style and we couldn't recommend this one higher, with our personal favourites including the wave-like sweeping synthesizer action of 'Purple Soul', alongside the haunted soundscaping and exceptional drum processing of 'Broken Neon'. Wow, just wow!
