Renowned for their own distinctive sounds, the next release on Dispatch Recordings brings together two producers with their own unique take on drum and bass. Perfectly complimenting the other's style, the three tracks that make up DIS150 reveal a creative pairing that we hope to see more of. 'Enhanced Realism' strips back complex production methods to enhance the key components of old distorted Emu breaks, classic filters and short verbs to give us that classic 'warehouse' tonality. For 'Perpetual Motion' Wreckless shows us his first foray in to a less syncopated style, maximising the straight step grooves that Brain does so well. The bass seems to continually fall throughout the track, working in contrast with the groove for maximum effect. 'Incedio' is a minimal stepper packed with a dirty acid filter bass, and that trademark Wreckless syncopation carries throughout the track, rounded nicely with deep pads and the minimal flavours Brain is known for. Perhaps the standout track on the release, this one really captures both producers' individual styles well.

This single has a rework of his acclaimed track 'The Elephant' from last year on the A-side, and he's managed to craft an even more dastardly piece of dancefloor construction from the potent elements of the first version. The flip - You Got - is a stepping, punchy number with serious weigh behind it. Banging.

К сожаления у Чеда сгорел хард диск со всеми его оригинальными треками еще в далеком 2009 году, поэтому я не смог раздобыть качественный материал для прослушивания, но то что осталось звучит тоже очень хорошо! К тому же некоторые пластинки при большом желании можно преобрести на discogs - они до сих пор имеют большую ценность для ценителей настоящего джангл саунда.
