Takjacob - Say Nothing EP Dubtribu are back, kicking off a string of 2020 releases with 'Say Nothing', a 3 track heavyweight EP from Takjacob. Following on from his debut release 'Can't Own Me', Takjacob delivers an angry reese-driven sound, fusing eastern woodwind melody with swinging drums and crisp sub work. 'Say Nothing' embodies this sound entirely. Innocent sitars quickly darken into a destructive array of distorted reese bass and glimmering synths. 'Sounds of Anarchy' follows, chopping intricate subs with infectious groove and swing in the drums. Rounding off the EP, 'System' will catch you off guard if you haven't been paying attention to how Takjacob operates. Soaring Arabian flutes morph in and out of a stomping bass pattern, combined with lurching subs. 'Say Nothing' is a statement, and Takjacob is one to watch.

When the label was first formed we made a short list of artists. At the time some of those artists we thought would be unobtainable, in links with other labels. We didn't want to tread on toes. Nor did we feel we had the adequate platform to support those artists. Feonix [Jimmi] was one of those guys. A member of LSN and a renowned prolific producer in his own right.. We are humbled to of finally achieved a tick in the box of Jim. This 4 trackers is testament to the versatility of the man. No stone unturned from left to right of the spectrum of his sound.
