Shadowax и Ishome - альтер-эго Мирабеллы Карьяновой, которая вынуждает на вечеринках рейверой в экстазе скандировать "А и Б сидели на игле", "Это просто такой стайл Николай Рептайл!", отрывает от земли своим электронными переливами в "Eva", "Adam", "Ken Tavr".
Nikolai Reptile is Shadowax's debut EP on Trip, and in keeping with the label's overall approach, it's an off beat affair. It starts with the title track's low sub-bass, which supports indistinct vocals - possibly in Russian - before giving way to the equally off-beat "Ochen". There, a vocal is looped over a dense broken beat as Shadowax introduces more low end emissions. "What About Me" inhabits a space that is right at the edge of the dance floor, with minimal drums playing host to dark synths, before the high speed "Mortal Talking" ends the EP with a tempo that exceeds 170bpm.

"we’ve been making experimental beats for about 5 years now and have noticed how much this style has blown up over the last couple years. with that being said, we really wanted to reach even further to make an ep that doesn’t sound like anything anyone else is putting out. that’s always the goal with every tune we make but it was even stronger for the ep.
the making of the collab with tvboo was full of trash talking (like usual) but we’re really excited about how it came out.
the collab with mersiv took a while because of both our schedules being so busy and we don’t live near each other but we’re very happy we waited for it finished.
quaviusblack brought a couple of the tunes to life vocally like he always does. he’s the only rapper we’ve ever had on any of our tracks and we know we can always count on him to come through with some fire"

Scorn это английский электронный проект, который был сформирован в начале девяностых. Представляет собой ответвление от Napalm Death, созданное двумя бывшими участниками группы: Миком Харрисом и Николасом Булленом. Последний покинул коллектив в тех же девяностых и с 1995-го Scorn является сольным проектом Мика.
С последнего релиза до «Cafe Mor» прошло целых девять лет, и, послушав этот альбом, можно понять, почему Харрису требовалась такая передышка. У артиста совершенно нет новых идей, видимо, он устал от музыки. Пластинка не блещет оригинальностью от слова совсем, это просто тяжёлый индустриальный звук. Эту работу Мика я могу сравнить со второй половиной «Wrecked» от Zonal, только Scorn всё же будет поинтереснее и под него не засыпаешь. По крайней мере, на первое прослушивание!

Review Last spotted on Audio Addict's impeccable Ravey Misbehavey collection, midlands murker Scartip returns with a full EP loaded and coded with danger. With "Bipolar Musique" the title says it all as we float from a cloud chowing break into a savage paranoid step with complete showstopping contrast. "Chung" continues the mean message with techno-like momentum and tripped-out loopy FX while "Mistakes" is a space-aged homage to hip-hop bangers of the 23rd century. "Free Entry Tactics" saves the most experimental ideas to last as we're taken down a futuresque jungle rabbit hole where things are not what they seem. Serious and unclassifiable, Scartip's sporting some proper innovation here.

Review We love us some super clean bass music here at JunoDownload, and that is exactly what we have stumbled upon here as SBSTRD lands on Meanbucket for a twelve track rinseout, exploring multiple different exciting areas of bass as a whole. From the incredible soundscaping of 'Anhedonia' and high energy juke rolls of 'In Love', to the shuffling break drums of 'Coolie Dip' and experimental 140BPM flavours of 'Stop', this one really does take us on one hell of a journey. For us the real stand out single from the whole project had to be the super grimey flips and unpredictable drum arrangements of 'Maxwell Trak', which features Maxwell and promises to give you some serious on-set energy.
