Type Album
Special Edition with 4 extra tracks! Those Austrians just keep on bringing the fire to the Hospital camp! Having made the call with TC, looked into the future with Jenna G and Futurebound and generally caused a ruckus with their rambunctious new material on a fictional 80s game show, the terrible two are back with their debut album on Hospital Records. The album features collaborations with some of the UK's finest vocalists and producers, including: Bristol based tour de force TC, trance vocalist Shaz Sparks, everyone's favourite D+B diva Jenna G, Viper Recs boss Futurebound, soulful singer Ayah Marar and upcoming Mancunian talent Skittles. Cross The Line? is everything you'd expect and more from the Viennese pair; a fourteen-track rollercoaster ride of emotions, veering between polished vocal-led beauties to filthy tear-out monsters, which firmly establishes Camo & Krooked outside the D+B sphere, as they delve into dubstep, drumstep, electro-house and everything in between. All in all, it's an outstanding offering from Camo & Krooked which proves they are soaring well ahead of the game. This is the sound of the future!

No Concept look like they might soon be at the forefront of synth-heavy dancefloor music and, this time around, Technique are the vehicle for moving up that ladder, the patronage of Drumsound and Bassline Smith clearly serving them well. This single is, then, unsurprisingly good and it starts with 'Be The 1', a raucous track which takes 0 prisoners and relishes it, its growling bass are anything but kind yet definitely dancefloor worthy. 'Remember' is equally poisonous and the tune is so heavy you'll forget all about the fact you're being poisoned. Enjoy.

International business a run for the latest Jungle Cakes release in the form of the 'Positive' EP by MikkiM and Jamie Bostron featuring MC Turner and Earl 16. Jungle has always been about embracing culture and positivity (even those dark and murky raves from '94.. honest) and this double A side release certainly shouts it out loud. 'Positive Vibrations' brings MC Turner into the mix who rides the bubbling bassline effortlessly, adding a certain touch of summer sunshine to the pot. Bright horns and spring loaded keys nice up the dance to the point of wanting to draw for that lighter in your back pocket again and again and again. Reload my selector! MikkiM, Jamie Bostron and Earl 16 mash up the dance hard with 'Get Up Stand Up'. A timeless classic that's brought bang up to date, given a Jungle Cakes lick of paint and unleashed into your speakerbox at maximum volume. Crossover potential? FOR SURE.
