I recorded a mix for CODERED packed with a wide range of bass music around 140 BPM — featuring tracks from friends as well as other producers, including dubplates and official releases. CODERED Sounds is a long-running mix series created by bass music selectors and producers. It originally started many years ago and has recently been relaunched.

Neekeetone is a producer, turntablist, and finger drummer working across styles such as jungle, 160 BPM bass music, and UK garage. Nikita has released music on labels including Hardcore Energy, Nice Up!, Time Tunnel, and others. A dedicated contributor to sound system culture, he is currently based in Belgrade. In both his DJ sets and productions, he blends an old-school foundation with a dynamic and expressive approach to rhythm.

“I just realized that the previous mix I recorded for CODERED Sounds was actually nine years ago! It was called Sad Party Mix, inspired by a ‘birch juke’ vibe and consisted entirely of my own productions. This time I tried not to include too many of my own tracks. I also wanted the mix to feature not only explosive bangers but also music that’s simply interesting to listen to. Anyway — hope you enjoy it,” — Neekeetone.
