When we heard the news that Cimm had an album on the way, we could barely contain our excitement. When we then learnt it was to be featured on Sentry, our expectations tripled, and boy does Cimm deliver! The project takes the name 'Unknown Caller!!' and is a perfect embodiment of what today's deep dubstep scene represents, from the irresistible sub pressures of 'The Corner' alongside Rider Shafique to eastern-dub hybrids of 'Blue Sapphire' and lower tempo bass quakes of 'I Am Jack Travis'. The collaborations are fruitful on this one, as Cimm also invites Youngsta, Mr K, SGT Pokes, Riko Dan and Animai to take part in what is undoubtedly one of the strongest dubstep projects of the year.

We can safely say that In:flux will be leaving 2019 as one if it's standout labels, having constantly supplied a stream of forward thinking music from bass to garage to dubstep and grime. The 140 vibes continue on this one as J Kong lands to potent original designs, kicking off with the warbling sub tones of 'Dutch', which sit below twisted percussion clicks and unpredictable rhythmic structures. Following this 'Poncho' provides a spooky stepper, driven by sharp drum slaps and thick sub tones. On remix duty, 9TRANE lines up a killer rethink of 'Dutch', whilst label top dogs: Tik&Borrow unleash some lethal synthesis in their version of 'Poncho'.

A little while back when I first started this project, I wrote a batch of tunes in a pretty dark spot, put them up on Soundcloud, and didn't really expect much to happen. Those tunes ended up being some of my most played music, and unfortunately I never got around to releasing them for people to own. Fortunately, I have remastered the tracks and made those four tunes available to buy, alongside four brand new ones in a release entitled 'First Things First'. Thank you for all the support thus far, it means the world

As far as dubstep veterans go, Von D holds a special place in steppers history, with a long run of 140 classics under his belt. He here offers two of his more hard hitting recent originals up for remix duty and the combination of Hypho and Moresounds simply could not resist getting involved. Firstly, we hear Hypho's potent rethink of 'Hardcore Dub Music', which alongside featuring some tidy vocal work from Rider Shafique, packs a real classic steppers punch. Following this, we hear Moresounds rebuild 'Frictions' into a more march-ready roller, providing a perfect secret weapon to mash up the dance.

Cat ALBION011
Having been nominated in the category of 'Best Record Label 2019' as part of the celebrated Duploc awards, Albion Collective can safely say that they have smashed 2019 out of the water. This final release of the year sees them out in style as the rapidly rising sounds of Cartridge, also nominated in the 'Best Breakthrough Producer' lands with three tracks of explicit heat. The title track 'Cashmere' combines impactful drums with eastern influenced woodwind melodies to cook up a storm, followed by haunted plucks and grizzly sub textures of 'Antimatter' and mystic harmonies of 'Sacred Scrollz' to round out the year in style.

We always get excited to see a brand new JFO release hit the shelves, so when we saw he had teamed up with the ever-ready Macabre Unit team for a two track special, we were absolutely over the moon. This one is a perfect showcase of what JFO is all about, as 'Bodom' kicks us off in style, channeling incredibly clean bass synthesizer processing, spacey pads and punchy drums to provide us with an absolute heater. On the B-side we welcome 'Virus', dripping in a more classic deep dubstep flavour as growling synthesizer rolls run riot amidst delicate percussive leads and smooth atmospheric textures. Another job well done for both Macabre Unit and JFO!
