Review: There appears to be no stopping Mistakay at the minute, who continues to smash together monstrous releases left right and centre through his uniquely crispy take on 140BPM production. His latest catalogue release goes by the name of 'Sum Choonz' and boasts 20 original heaters, showcasing the full depth of Kay's production prowess, from the warbling bass wobbles of 'Distance' to the UKG inspired twist ups of 'Artistic' and drill like drum textures of 'Boyo'. For us the stunning vocal processing on 'Freedom' gives the track an immediate mention, along with the super moody subs of 'Blood & Guts' and colourful reversed strings of 'Black Magic'. Tasty stuff.

Review: The team at Blacksoil have put together a selection of catchy little heaters here as they unveil the first edition of their 'Blacksoil Records Presents' series, featuring four potent original dubstep creations. Firstly, we dip into the eerie vocal samples and fuzzy bass tones of Gnischrew's 'Panic' original, which is followed up by a look at the spooky, sub-heavy sounds of 'Opertus' from Pablo. Next up, Mob Killa touches down with some super trippy, shimmering hat structures on 'Illusionary Life', which is followed closely by the dubwise instrumentation of AC's 'Bomaye' to round everything off in style.
