Imprint 3024
Nr# 3024-MEN 1
Next up from the 3024 team, we have yet another top quality exploration into the more experimental side of dance music, here assembling a top quality lineup which happens to be jam-packed with the perfect combination of creativity and production ability. There really is something for everyone on this fantastic compilation, which takes the title 'It Was Always There', from Sobolik's 'Like Like' original which takes a seriously colourful approach in both its melodies and percussive beauty, to the hardcore-inspired drum skips of 'Let The Seasons Drift' and 808-driven subs of Pharma & J Weaver's 'Red Shift'. Despite the fact the EP works so nicely as a long-play project, we do have to point out a couple of highlights, those being the stunning 'Drum On' from CCL, which performs absolute wonders with a pulsating low end and clicky drum designs, alongside the gorgeous synth-hums of Laurence Kapinga's 'Headrest'. It's a special compilation to say the least!

Imprint 20/20 LDN Recordings
Nr# 2020LDN038
20/20 LDN appear to have struck some real gold with this selection as they welcome some of the most potent names around the edges of the 140 musical spectrum for this spicy new 'Hyperkicks' collection. We begin with Hi5Ghost's involvement, who delivers an industrial yet spacious creation with 'I've Seen', pushing the grizzly side of the sound to the very limit, before 'GSC' sees Hyroglifics unleash a satanic spread of eerie melodic mischief and glitchy drum designs. Next, Drone arrives for more bassy badness as 'Love Lost' combines floating melodic textures with pleasing vocal samples and a booming sub below for a raucous encounter, before the celebratory harmonics and pulsating 808 basslines of Jook's 'Wise' sees us out in style.

Imprint Prime Audio
Nr# PRIMEDIGI074
We would like to introduce Subceptron to Prime Audio with his debut EP release entitled "Android EP" Here was his process of creating the EP: The Android EP first started as a track called "let's get it". This tune was originally made as a fun song to play out giving a wonky yet energetic vibe to the crowd. Title track "Android" is a tune show casing the classic Subceptron style influenced by artists such as Subject 31, D-jahsta and 12 gauge. This tune brought dark robotic vibes slaying your speakers and pounding your chest as it elapses. Next tracks such as "Jump back" and "Outbreak" gave the EP a full feel show casing BPM changes and variation throughout the EP but keeping the signature Subceptron feel.

Review: As always with the Dank N Dirty Dubz team, we are absolutely thrilled to see them unveiling new music, with this collection from Soul Bass Project ticking all the boxes for dubstep fans worldwide. We begin our journey through this one with a look at 'Crimson', an industrious system buster, jam-packed with sub-heavy goodness and potent percussive displays, with the swirling melodic jives and chord arpeggio combinations of 'Beach Trip' following closely behind. From here, the melodies and rhythms become ever more impactful as 'Viva Cuba' with combined groovy piano lines, enthralling guitar plucks with lively drum displays for a groovy shakedown, making way for a wicked finale. As far as originals go, the choppy drum punches and powerful sub textures of 'Che' work perfectly as a closer, with the uplifting melodic direction putting the cherry on the cake.
