Как всегда море ID, мэшапов и ремиксов, приятного прослушивания! Очень зубодробительная получилась соляночка, куча нового дабстепа замэшапено с жругими треками. Дуэт представил как и свои новинки дабстеп'а так и других исполнителей таких как: Slushii, Leotrix, Spag Heddy, Infiniti и даже самого Skrillex'a (Скриллекса). It definitely looks like the Basskruit team have uncovered a bit of a gem with this one as Substrada kicks off in 2021 with a real blast, delivering three absolute sizzlers on this crazy EP project. We begin with the constantly shifting soundscapes and progressive percussive inputs of 'Eerie Lab', which sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the EP. Next, 'Yoxi' sends us down to swamp with some trickling rhythms and gnarly low-end expressions, before we move to the finale in 'Urdak', a super grizzly roller, dripping with intricate sub designs and spooky atmospheric pressure, capping off a very impressive body of work.

Next up from the Basskruit crew, we take in this fabulous new selection from an artist by the name of Cubiqule, whose brand new single seems to find itself lurking between about ten different genres and yet not sounding out of place at all. The electronic magnificence of 'Duna' is something to behold, with the half-time, almost hip-hop inspired rhythms of the track sitting so comfortably alongside incredibly metallic percussion and swampy bass sounds, the fusion is frankly mind-blowing. Despite the original track being so exceptional, we also find ourselves blessed with four remixes, kicking off with SCHIM92's colourful steppers rethink, alongside a much more dungeon-inspired 140 relick from Datra. Next, Crowley gives the track another dubstep overhaul, speeding up the rhythms into a system-busting soundscape, with the wonky drums and sizzling synth action of Moonstreams's rework providing the final touches of this excellent projecty!

There is nothing we love to see more than a new quality dubstep label popping up in the new release section, and when that label is an offshoot of the mighty DUPLOC we know we have a real treat in store. the team over as Basskruit has supplied for us a superb first release as they welcome Sweepa & Tosti for five tracks of sumptuous subby brilliance. We begin with the haunted woodwind lines and chugging bass-bin rattling synth lines that give that track an overall swampy texture, followed by an even wonkier rework from the ever-dependable Hebbe. Next, 'Ketel' smashes it's way onto the system with some of the punchiest drum work we have heard in years, doused in ironized percussive pulses and moody melodies, before we jump into two more tasty remixes. First up, TMSV sends the track down-river with a super-vibrant triplet-led revamp, coupled with Requakes warbling monster of an overhaul. We just can't get enough of this one!
