Сегодня вышел уже второй релиз Fred V на Hospital Records после того, как он с Grafix решили писать музыку сольно. Четыретрековая "Distance EP" созданная в сотрудничестве с вокалистками Vonné и Chelsea Watts, прекрасно дополняющие его эйфорическое drum'n'bass звучание.
V is for victory! Fred returns to Hospital with four stunning workouts that cross the entire board. "Distance" kicks off proceedings with lavish orchestration, a belting vocal from Vonne and synths that's so euphoric it'll singe your whiskers. Elsewhere the brilliantly titled "Wobbleboard" shows off Fred's darker side and penchant for contrasts as the greasy, grubby funk groove is broken up by golden chords from another planet, "Shadow" goes full-on ghostly sci-fi soul (complete with a light sprinkling of rave magic) and "Light In The Distance" ends with some classic Fred V hope. You'll be hard pushed to find a tune better fitting to Hospital or the current times we live in. Positivity like this is what we need right now.
