His inspirations come from the likes of legends Alix Perez, QZB, and Monty among others, and the end product of his creative efforts truly captures the essence of his influencers, along with displaying fine attention to detail and impression production quality. Xolyx displays many facets of complex sound design whilst maintaining solid structure to his tracks which has allowed him to develop a technically impressive but also pleasant sounding musical style.
Hailing from Watford, Xolyx has already had a number of released on Modular Carnage, UK Breakbeat, and SDdnb, but we welcome him to the Incurzion Family with what is surely his best piece of work yet! Review: As ever with Moonshine Recordings, they have delivered us a seriously top notch selection as they unveil sixteen tracks of sweet reggae bliss. We have one of a line up on the table as we see names such as G Roots, Frenk Dublin, Blind Prophet, Adam Prescott and more throw us contributions as rootsy flavours are given a 2019 face lift. There are some clear standouts from this work, despite all sixteen tracks being absolute show stoppers, including 6Blocc & General Jah Mikey's system-ready stomper 'Too Rude' and the euphoric horn manoeuvres of 'Enchanted Dub' from Halcyonic, G Roots, Digid & Vale. The whole project is excellent, and we are super stoked to have it available here at Juno Download.

Review: Low Down Deep has become one of the premier destinations for UK jump-up, playing host to every big name in the scene over the years. Now a proper flag-holder for the resurgent jump-up movement, Low Down Deep are back and they're repping Ego Trippin, one of the big up and comers right now. He's coming out with a full-length LP, a rare thing these days, and track one 'Bad Girls' is playful yet devastating, with an upbeat and funky arrangement that lands hard - very hard. 'Baby Blues' is less subtle, with pitched up synths that pummel the top end of the range and a snapping drum line that nails the bottom end. Yes guys!
